Safety-Enhanced Kevlar Base Section

The bottom section of the pole—the handle area—is reinforced with an added layer of DuPont™ Kevlar® woven into the carbon fiber. This strengthens the section you handle most and adds protection from bumps, drops, and everyday job site contact. It also provides a minor safety buffer during brief, accidental contact with electrical sources such as overhead lines.

That said, the pole is fundamentally carbon fiber, which conducts electricity. The Kevlar reinforcement does not make the pole safe for high-voltage environments or serious electrical hazards. Always keep a safe distance from any electrical source while operating.
