Safety-Enhanced Kevlar Base Section

The base part of the carbon gutter pole—the section handled during tasks—is strengthened with an extra DuPont™ Kevlar® layer woven into the carbon fiber. This reinforcement improves sturdiness, reinforces the pole's primary grip area, and guards against the daily scrapes, drops, and impacts found on active sites. Furthermore, the Kevlar provides additional resistance if the pole makes quick, accidental contact with an electrical source, such as a power line.

However, it is vital to remember the pole consists mostly of carbon fiber, a material that conducts electricity. Having Kevlar reinforcement does not mean the pole is safe around high-voltage wires or major electrical dangers. Always stay far away from any electrical sources while the pole is in use.
